On Friday 16th May 2008, the Ipswich City Employee (ICE) Awards were held. We are proud to announce that Jason Valavous, one of our talented technical engineers, was awarded the Employee of the Year award for the Information Technology & Telecommunications category. Jason started with Protocol 1 in October 2005 as a part time technician while he completed his Diploma of Information Technology at Bremer TAFE. Using the skills learnt from TAFE combined with the hands on experience gained from working in our workshop, Jason quickly became a valued team member. Since then, Jason has become popular with many of our clients who appreciate his cheery attitude and professional manner. In the past year, Jason has also been appointed the liason technician with SeniorNet, helping to strengthen our support of this local community group. Congratulations Jason! |

3 December 2007 saw us open the doors to our new Business Solutions and Training premises at 113 Brisbane St, Ipswich. In just the first week, we were holding classes for keen students, eager to gain new skills in various Microsoft and MYOB products! With two floors, each with it's own training room, we are ready to provide fresh and exciting courses on the latest software and professional development topics. Being in the Ipswich CBD has also meant we are more accessible to our clients and we now have the space and opportunities to showcase new technologies. |
